These vines occupy the small Enfer d’Arvier sub-zone of the Valle d’Aosta DOP appellation.
Here, the sun reverberates off the cauldron of surrounding rock, and ensures the vines ripen to their maximum. The resulting wines are richly flavoured, full-bodied and high in alcohol.
