San Valentino is a second generation estate near the Adriatic coast in Emilia Romagna. It is owned by Roberto Mascarin – pictured here with his Sales & Events Manager, Laura.
This is an important estate of the region, making Sangiovese- and Grechetto-based wines. Labels include Scabi – branded as Rebola in the UK, for… reasons – Terra di Covignano and Luna Nuova.
A new label, pictured above, is the delicious “Boom”, a bottle-fermented, unfiltered sparkling Bombino Bianco.
Appellations are Rubicone IGP (as in, ‘crossing the’, and which covers international varieties), Rimini DOC and Romagna DOC.
