Gallura & Vermentino
This historical name refers to a large swathe of northern Sardegna.
The pink-hued granite, crystalline seas, pristine beaches and aromatic maquis are a magnet for artists and nature-lovers. The wines, especially semi-aromatic Vermentino are world-class, and in fact fall within Sardegna’s only DOCG-level appellation, Vermentino di Gallura.
